Job description


A premier mechanical contractor in the Houston area is seeking an Industrial

Refrigeration Service Technician for heavy commercial and industrial refrigeration work.

4+ years of industrial refrigeration experience required


Valid driver's license with clean MVR to operate a company vehicle


Universal refrigerant recovery certification required


Valid TWIC card, clean background, and clean driving record required


Overview: Service and repair heavy commercial and industrial chillers used in cold storage and processing systems. Must be familiar with centrifugal, reciprocating, screw, absorption, and ammonia chiller systems. Experience working with NH3, propane, ethane, CO2, and other low-to-medium temperature refrigerants required. Prior training or certification from major manufacturers (e.g., Frick, York, Mycom, Howden) is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of industrial refrigeration experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Valid driver's license with clean MVR to operate a company vehicle
  • Universal refrigerant recovery certification required
  • Valid TWIC card, clean background, and clean driving record required
