**Job Description:**
We are seeking a meticulous and skilled Body Shop Paint Prepper to join our dynamic automotive repair team. This role is integral to ensuring high-quality finishes on a variety of vehicles, preparing them for painting to achieve a flawless result. If you have a keen eye for detail, a passion for automotive aesthetics, and a commitment to craftsmanship, we encourage you to apply.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform thorough cleaning and preparation of vehicle bodies and parts, ensuring all surfaces are primed for painting.
- Sand and smooth out rough panels, filling dings and dents where necessary to create a seamless surface.
- Mask and cover areas of vehicles not to be painted, maintaining the integrity of surrounding materials.
- Inspect and ensure all preparation work aligns with company standards before moving vehicles to the painting phase.
- Collaborate with the painting team to understand and execute specific requirements for each project.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep stations, ensuring tools and materials are ready for use.
