This position will be based onsite at the Laughlin AFB in Del Rio, Texas.
Job Overview
Perform various functions and incidental services associated with repairs on array of heavy and light vehicles to support the operational mission.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Duties:
  • Diagnoses malfunctions; repairs, rebuilds, and maintains refueling truck and related equipment.
  • Diagnose malfunctions; repair, rebuild and maintain various types of motor vehicles and related equipment, including but not limited to engines, drivelines, brake, and hydraulic systems.
  • Requires strict adherence to OSHA and AFOSH safety standards.
  • Required to perform on-call duty.
  • Accountable for hand tools and shop equipment.
  • Performs normal maintenance on shop equipment and maintains cleanliness of shop area.
  • May be assigned additional duties involving accountability for Government Furnished items.
  • Respond to a wide array of operational situations as they arise and as instructed by supervisory personnel.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties.
  • Able to perform the duties of this position with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Performs normal maintenance on shop equipment and maintains cleanliness of shop area.
  • Perform all other work-related duties assigned

Job Requirements
