Essential Functions

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on heavy equipment, trucks and vehicles as needed for gas and diesel
  • Inspect equipment on site
  • Work independently and carry out assignments in a timely, cost-effective manner
  • Follow safety policies and procedures
  • Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned
  • Ability to build, rebuild, and repair all parts of equipment is a plus
  • Ability to diagnose any mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and any other breakdown or failure is a plus.

Work Environment
This job operates on job sites and remote locations. Exposure to heat, cold, dust, and noise is to be expected.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to allow individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

Required Education and Experience

  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience maintaining and/or repairing vehicles or have completed education in the field.
  • Experience with hydraulic and electrical system troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical problems is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
  • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
