Job description

You’ve built your career helping people. Now it’s time to join a shop that values your experience, professionalism, and ability to make a difference.

At Eugene Car Care, we’ve built our reputation on honest advice, exceptional client care, and quality repairs. We believe taking care of our clients starts with taking care of our team. We’re looking for an Experienced Automotive Service Advisor with at least 4 years of experience in an automotive repair shop who is passionate about building relationships, educating clients, and helping people make informed decisions about their vehicles.

About the Role:
As a Service Advisor at Eugene Car Care, you’ll be the primary connection between our clients and our technicians. You’ll guide clients through the repair process, communicate digital vehicle inspection results, prioritize maintenance and repairs, and ensure every client leaves confident in the care their vehicle received.

This position is perfect for someone who enjoys building trust, solving problems, staying organized, and working with a team that believes in doing what’s right—not what’s easiest.

We’re Looking for Someone Who Has:
  • 4+ years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor in an independent repair shop.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain vehicle repairs in a way clients understand.
  • Experience using Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs) to educate clients and build trust.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills while handling multiple repair orders.
  • The ability to prioritize work and coordinate effectively with technicians.
  • A positive, professional attitude with a genuine desire to help people.
  • Pride in providing outstanding client service and attention to detail.
  • A commitment to continuous learning as vehicle technology continues to evolve.

What You’ll Do:
  • Welcome clients and create an exceptional first impression.
  • Listen carefully to client concerns and document repair requests accurately.
  • Build estimates and present repair and maintenance recommendations with confidence.
  • Review Digital Vehicle Inspection findings with clients using photos and technician notes.
  • Schedule appointments and manage vehicle workflow throughout the day.
  • Communicate repair progress and completion updates.
  • Coordinate with technicians to keep repairs moving efficiently.
  • Follow up with clients after service to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships.
  • Help maintain a professional, organized, and positive front office.

What We Offer:
  • 4-day work week. Monday through Thursday schedule — No weekends.
  • $56,000 - $72,800 annual.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including:
    • Retirement plan with 3% employer match.
    • Medical plan.
    • Dental, and vision insurance.
    • Paid vacation and sick leave.
    • Employee vehicle service discounts.
  • A supportive, respectful, and drama-free team environment.
  • Modern shop management software and Digital Vehicle Inspection tools.
  • Paid ongoing professional and leadership training.
  • Opportunities for career growth and advancement.
  • A workplace where your ideas are valued and your success is celebrated.
  • All of this—and we genuinely enjoy coming to work together.

The Kind of Person Who Thrives Here:
You believe great service starts with listening. You enjoy educating clients rather than pressuring them. You understand that honesty creates loyal clients, and you take pride in helping people care for one of their biggest investments.

If you want to work in a shop where relationships matter, teamwork is valued, and your contributions make a real difference every day, we’d love to meet you.

Our Commitment:
At Eugene Car Care, we believe our greatest strength is our people. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and experiences and are committed to creating a respectful, inclusive workplace where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.

If you’re an experienced Service Advisor looking for a long-term career with a shop that values honesty, professionalism, and exceptional client care, we’d love to hear from you.
