We are seeking a detail-oriented and persistent Test & Validation Engineer to join our company. In this role, you will perform vehicle-level testing and data validation for our vision system. You will play a critical role in discovering edge cases, ensuring system reliability, and validating perception performance under real-world conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct vehicle-level testing and validation for ADAS/AD perception components (focused on Camera/Vision systems) on test tracks and public roads
  • Develop detailed Test Procedure(TP), Test Scenarios, and Evaluation Metrics based on requirements
  • Analyze complex sensor/log data, identify edge cases, and generate comprehensive validation/evaluation reports
  • Support system set-up, calibration, and maintenance for vision systems and data acquisition systems
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to reproduce and resolve perception/system issues

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of hands-on experience in ADAS/AD (SAE Lv1-4) vehicle testing, design, or application engineering at an OEM or Tier-1 supplier.
  • Valid US Driver's License with a clean driving record (Mandatory for vehicle testing).
  • Strong understanding of ADAS/AD systems, sensors (Camera, Radar, LiDAR), and key test equipment (e.g., OxTS, ABD, 4a, DGPS).
  • Familiarity with safety and regulatory test protocols (NHTSA, Euro NCAP, ISO 26262 awareness)
  • Proficiency in Python, MATLAB/Simulink, or data analysis tools for processing test logs
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong documentation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally for track testing and field validation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience in camera vision edge-case testing (e.g., occlusion, low-light, adverse weather)
  • Familiar with CAN and Vector toolset (CANape/CANoe)
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
  • Experience with automated test scripting and data pipelines
