Role Description: We are currently seeking a VC Associate to support the investment team through sourcing and evaluating early-stage companies, conducting market and competitive research, building financial models, and assisting in due diligence for potential investments. This role is a full-time, on-site position based in Austin, TX. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with founders, preparing investment memos and presentations, tracking portfolio performance, and contributing to internal discussions on strategy and pipeline. The role also involves cultivating relationships across the startup ecosystem, attending industry events, and helping strengthen Silverton’s presence in growth markets. The Associate will collaborate closely with partners and team members to support portfolio companies and drive firm initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Identify, source, and evaluate new investment opportunities Execute various projects as needed, including researching and developing investment theses Perform investment analysis & modeling Assist individual portfolio companies in support of Silverton board members Help prepare internal investment memos Support investor reporting and fundraising initiatives Establish and maintain strong professional networks inside and outside the Silverton network; network with peers in other VC firms Extend the fund's institutional infrastructure Preferred Skills and Experience: 2-4 years of investment or M&A experience (VC/PE, investment banking) and/or significant previous startup experience; Ability to quickly develop an informed perspective on new markets AI Fluency: We are looking for an investment professional who has embraced AI as a force multiplier in their work and demonstrated knowledge of the AI infrastructure ecosystem and software stack Requirements: BS/BA degree or higher with technical or engineering background preferred Outstanding analytical skills; strong knowledge of Excel Detail-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work full-time from Silverton's office in Austin, TX Benefits: Compensation – Competitive Cash Salary Carry in Silverton Partners VIII & Opportunities II Ability to earn additional carry (based individual performance) Health, dental and vision coverage 401k plan To apply, please send your resume and a statement of interest and cover letter to associate@silvertonpartners.com. #J-18808-Ljbffr
