Vascular Surgery Physician

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Vascular Surgery Physician to join our dynamic surgical team in Moultrie, Georgia. This full-time, hospital-based position is perfect for those ready to make a significant impact in a supportive and progressive medical environment.

Moultrie, GA, is ideally situated with convenient access to major cities: Tallahassee, FL (70 miles), Albany, GA (40 miles), Valdosta, GA (60 miles), Macon, GA (130 miles), and Atlanta, GA (190 miles). Moultrie offers a welcoming small-town feel with a vibrant community atmosphere.

Position Details
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, equally divided between clinic and operating room duties.
  • Call Schedule: 7 days per month, with additional compensated call opportunities.
  • Practice Environment: Collaborate with four board-certified general surgeons and leverage full hospital resources.
  • Teaching Opportunities: Engage in precepting medical students and residents.
  • Facilities: Work within the Sterling Surgery and Medicine Clinic, conveniently located near the hospital, with access to a 24/7 physician lounge, employee fitness center, and advanced education/simulation facilities.

Candidate Requirements
  • Completion of a vascular surgery fellowship, with a prior general surgery residency required.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery.
  • Possession of or eligibility for a Georgia medical license via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
  • Must achieve board certification within 5 years if not currently certified.
