The Impact You'll Make

As a Yard Leader, you'll be the driving force behind smooth, safe, and efficient yard operations at your location. You'll lead a team of 12 in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that every vehicle is received, inspected, and processed accurately — meeting both our internal standards and our customers' expectations. Your leadership will directly influence operational performance, safety compliance, and team morale.

Located within minutes of Grosse Pointe, MI

What You'll Do

  • Lead daily yard activities to meet Yard Management and customer requirements.
  • Ensure your team understands and follows all Yard Management processes.
  • Oversee and train staff on standardized inbound and post-campaign vehicle inspections.
  • Train team members on the use of scanners, computers, and other yard equipment.
  • Utilize the VASCOR Knowledge Base to support operational excellence.
  • Complete and review all required paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Apply and train your team on our Quality Management System.
  • Enforce HR and Safety policies to maintain a safe, compliant work environment.
  • Manage a team of 12 employees in a high-volume, fast-moving yard.
  • Ensure accurate arrival logging of all inbound vehicles.

  • Experience training and developing team members.
  • Familiarity with yard management processes, inspection procedures, and quality systems.

Qualifications

Education

Training

Physical Demands

This position requires the following physical demands:
