Customer Service Clerk

How You Will Make an Impact

Varsity Yearbook is looking to hire a Customer Service Clerk to join the team in Edwardsville, Kansas. The Customer Service Clerk is the primary point of contact for customers, assisting them with product or service information, processing orders, handling returns or exchanges, and resolving complaints. The goal is to enhance the customer experience by providing timely and accurate assistance, thereby fostering customer loyalty and satisfaction.

What You Will Do

  • Process yearbook accessory orders and prep for production.
  • Assist Yearbook Cover Desk team in cover specification entry and communication to Customer Service team.
  • Support Customer Service team with various order entry needs
  • Data entry into our Yearbook Business System
  • Back-up other admins during absences
  • Filing and e-filing duties
  • Assist in other departments (Shipping, Quality Control, Handwork, Billing etc.) as needed

Qualifications

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of the organization.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Associates degree or 2 years work experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • The employee is occasionally required to walk.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
