Job description

Charter One works with schools across the country to provide all-inclusive education management services. We handle the day-to-day work so that client school boards can focus on governance and policy issues to be sure that the vision and mission of the school are being carried out properly.


American Leadership Academy - Anthem JH/HS is currently seeking a qualified Varsity Assistant Cheerleading Coach for the 2026-2027 season. Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, a valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card.


Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Handling/maintaining equipment and utilization of playing areas in conjunction with the Athletic Director.
  • Assist Varsity Head Coach with making specific requests for equipment and supplies.
  • Manage care and distribution of equipment and supplies
  • Attend all meetings held by the Athletic Director and the League Chairperson.
  • Establish good public relations with parents, teachers, community, and the news media.
  • Report contest results to the Varsity Head Coach.
  • Verify all practice/game fields are safe for players and spectators.
  • Coordinate fundraising with the Booster Clubs.
  • Have a well-developed coaching philosophy.
  • Have a “Plan for Success” that outlines expectations and discipline for the program.
  • Assist in developing a year-round action plan for maximizing the potential of each athlete.
  • Other duties as assigned, including any pre or post-season responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance card

Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous experience as Coach
  • Previous classroom teaching experience
