Compensation & Logistics
- Salary: $170,000 - $190,000 / year
- Location: South San Francisco, CA (Hybrid: 3 days onsite/week required)
- Relocation: Relocation package available!

- Education: PhD in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Biology, Statistics, Physics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience developing production bioinformatics pipelines, with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience (Candidates with only academic experience will not be considered).
- Product Focus: Proven experience contributing to actual bioinformatics products, going beyond just building pipelines.
- Specialized Expertise: Strong background in one or more of the following (Microbial Genomics is highly preferred):
- Microbial genomics (assembly/metagenomics)
- Variant calling / large-scale genomics
- Bulk/single-cell RNA-seq
