The Manager, Recruitment - Transition Staffing Services is responsible for leading and executing the national locum tenens recruitment strategy across the United States, supporting both existing and new client facilities nationwide. This role owns strategic direction for Premier Anesthesia's locums service line while also remaining hands-on in key recruiting efforts. The position blends people leadership, operational execution, and close partnership with Operations and Business Development to ensure timely, compliant, and high-quality provider placements. The role emphasizes data-driven recruiting, CRM discipline, and the effective use of technology-including Salesforce and AI-enabled recruiting tools-to improve speed, quality, and scalability of staffing outcomes.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership & Management Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters to achieve consistent performance and engagement.
  • Set, monitor, and report on weekly, monthly, and quarterly recruiting goals and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Marketing, and Legal to support growth initiatives and client contracts.
  • Ensure CRM and data integrity standards are consistently met across the recruitment team.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and technology adoption.

Recruitment & Operations
  • Recruit, interview, and place anesthesiologists and anesthetists for locum and transition staffing needs.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting from sourcing through placement, onboarding, and assignment completion.
  • Leverage Salesforce (CRM) to track candidates, client needs, outreach activity, and pipeline health.
  • Utilize AI-enabled recruiting tools for sourcing, market mapping, screening support, and workflow efficiency while ensuring compliance and ethical use.
  • Partner with credentialing and onboarding teams to ensure providers meet start dates and contractual requirements.
  • Establish and negotiate provider rates within approved guidelines and generate bookings.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of contracts, schedules, and communication.
  • Ensure all recruiting activities comply with company policy, healthcare regulations, and labor laws.
  • Provide timely staffing updates to facility clients and internal leadership.
  • Cultivate and maintain strategic, professional relationships with applicants, internal and external stakeholders, clinical leadership, client stakeholders, and agency partners to drive effective collaboration and partnership.
QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of healthcare locum tenens recruiting experience; anesthesia strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years managing recruiting teams.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Experience leveraging AI or automation tools within recruiting, staffing, or sales operations.
