Job Summary:
HireTalent is a staffing and recruiting firm seeking a Front-End Developer/Designer. The ideal candidate will join an agile development team to design, develop, and support multiple web applications while ensuring technical feasibility and optimizing code for performance.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and maintain critical, customer facing websites and applications
• Write clear, well-structured and tested code
• Analyze and resolve UX/UI and performance issues with ICC applications and websites
• Translate UI/UX requirements into lightweight, scalable code
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize code for maximum speed
• Ensure compatibility with all major digital devices and browsers
• Work with Web Application Developers and Quality Assurance to build and test solutions
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum 4+ years of front-end software development working on enterprise level applications.
• Proficiency with modern vanilla ES2015+ JavaScript, AJAX, HTML5 and CSS3
• Expert on desktop and mobile browser quirks and how to get around them
• Solid application-level JavaScript development skills
• Experience implementing frontend code into a CMS in such a way that makes it easy for developers and rich enough for content editors
• Proficient in modern web standards and tools
• Experience of web development processes and information architecture
• Good written and Oral communication skills.
• Able to work in the U.S.
Preferred:
• Front-End experience with frameworks like Angular, Vue.JS and React
• Experience with Photoshop and/or Illustrator
• Experience with Wordpress and Joomla, specifically having written custom themes and user interfaces
• Experience with our tools such as Git for version control, JIRA for project management
• Used and configured build tools like Yarn, Gulp, or Grunt
• Experience working inside of a PHP based backend MVC-style framework
• Familiar with CSS preprocessors like LESS and SCSS
• Experience designing and developing mobile applications
• Development experience within an Agile and/or Scrum environment
