Vanguard Fire & Security Systems, Inc. is looking for Electrical Technicians to join our team.
Vanguard offers a highly competitive compensation and benefit package including PTO, paid holidays, and a 401K plan.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Install all wiring to connect system components, complying with all applicable safety standards, codes and customer’s concerns, preferences or requirements 
  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Inspect and test systems to ensure all components are performing well and comply with safety requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fire alarm systems
  • Identify and repair malfunctions in system components or wiring
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years experience working as a fire alarm install technician preferred
  • Familiar with NFPA codes and standards
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Working knowledge of electrical testing equipment
