Role Summary

We are seeking an entrepreneurial Senior Product Manager to join our Enterprise Software team, charged with owning the strategy for Rivian’s critical Enterprise platforms. This role requires a strong product‑led mindset to translate complex business challenges into seamless, user‑centric technology solutions that streamline the critical and complex value streams, such as Supply Chain, Procurement and Payments ecosystem. You will operate end‑to‑end to drive innovation, fostering robust collaboration layers between Rivian and our global supplier network while ensuring our systems evolve to meet the needs of a fast‑paced, adventurous company.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic AI Integration: Drive the adoption of an "AI‑first" framework across the procurement domain. Pinpoint and implement high‑value applications for Generative AI and machine learning to automate intake processes, optimize sourcing, and develop advanced supplier insights.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Serve as a primary coordinator between Engineering, Procurement, Operations, and Enterprise Technology. Build alignment to achieve cohesive integration throughout the procurement and financial landscape.
  • Practical Problem Resolution: Engage directly with procurement teams and stakeholders to resolve operational ambiguity. Convert intricate cross‑platform challenges—such as data transfers between ERP systems like SAP/Coupa and risk management tools—into precise product specifications.
  • Lifecycle Management & Delivery: Manage the full product lifecycle from initial ideation through post‑launch refinement, maintaining strict alignment with project schedules.
  • Analytical Insight: Create data‑driven frameworks to evaluate Procurement cycle efficiency, supplier interaction, and system adoption. Leverage these metrics to guide roadmap prioritization and inform executive decision‑making.
  • Preferred areas of domain expertise: It’s a bonus having experience managing Enterprise Products preferable Procurement Ecosystem or Supplier Collaboration Platforms overseeing the strategic direction for the entire value stream sequence.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Information Systems or related areas with an equivalent practical experience within Procurement and Supply Chain Management, or closely related industrial sectors.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or program management, with a proven track record of owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Demonstrated experience with end‑to‑end product delivery, including feature delivery and managing trade‑offs in a complex enterprise systems landscape.
  • Proficiency in working with data to extract meaningful insights and influence senior leadership.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in Supply Chain and Procurement domain in Automotive or Manufacturing space.
  • Direct experience building or managing Products from ground up.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with experience in SQL and Python for data analysis.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to drive consensus across diverse enterprise teams and senior stakeholders.
Pay Disclosure

The salary range for this role is $111,000 - $138,700 for Michigan and Atlanta based applicants. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs.

The successful candidate may be eligible for annual performance bonus and equity awards.

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits for full-time and part-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26, including but not limited to paid vacation, paid sick leave, and a competitive portfolio of insurance benefits including life, medical, dental, vision, short‑term disability insurance, and long‑term disability insurance to eligible employees. You may also have the opportunity to participate in Rivian’s 401(k) Plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program if you meet certain eligibility requirements. Full‑time employee coverage is effective on their first day of employment. Part‑time employee coverage is effective the first of the month following 90 days of employment.
