Job description

Valor Home is seeking a creative, organized, and customer-focused Marketing & Customer Engagement Coordinator to help tell our story, grow our online presence, and deliver an excellent experience to our customers.

This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable filming and editing videos, managing social media accounts, creating engaging content, and communicating professionally with homeowners. The ideal candidate is creative, dependable, outgoing, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

Video Production and Content Creation

  • Plan, film, and edit videos featuring roofing projects, customer testimonials, employee spotlights, community involvement, promotions, and educational content.
  • Visit job sites and company events to capture photos and video.
  • Create short-form videos for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
  • Add graphics, captions, music, logos, and other branded elements to video content.
  • Organize and maintain the company’s photo and video library.
  • Develop creative content ideas that showcase Valor Roofing’s work, people, values, and Salute to Service program.


Social Media and Digital Marketing

  • Manage Valor Home's social media accounts and maintain a consistent posting schedule.
  • Write, design, schedule, and publish engaging social media content.
  • Monitor comments, messages, reviews, and customer questions across digital platforms.
  • Help manage the company’s online reputation by encouraging and responding to customer reviews.
  • Track social media performance and recommend ways to improve engagement, reach, and lead generation.
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns, special offers, community events, and company announcements.
  • Ensure that all published content is professional, accurate, and consistent with Valor Roofing’s brand.


Customer Service and Engagement

  • Respond promptly and professionally to incoming calls, website inquiries, social media messages, and customer questions.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and collecting basic customer and project information.
  • Follow up with customers regarding appointments, completed projects, reviews, testimonials, and referrals.
  • Communicate customer needs and concerns to the appropriate team members.
  • Help create a positive customer experience from the first inquiry through project completion.
  • Represent Valor Roofing professionally at community events, job sites, and company functions.


Qualifications

  • Experience with social media management, video production, marketing, customer service, or a related field.
  • Ability to film and edit professional-quality video content.
  • Familiarity with video-editing and design platforms such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Canva, or similar programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable appearing on camera and interacting with customers, employees, and community partners.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines.
  • Professional attitude and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for traveling to local job sites and events.
  • Roofing, construction, or home-improvement industry experience is helpful but not required.

Schedule
