Job description

Valley View's Eagle Valley Family Practice clinic is seeking an energetic, Full-Time, patient-focused Patient Services Specialist to be the first contact for our patients in the front office!

Full time scheduling and registration at a busy primary care practice located in Eagle. This is a Monday-Friday position!

Responsibilities include providing patients and physicians with professional and friendly reception duties; organizing patient flow; keeping physicians and patients on schedule; maintaining patient files and accounts in a professionally accurate manner; and handling phone calls for the office manager, physicians, and nurses appropriately. The Patient Service Specialist also assists with all billing and collection efforts as necessary and in a timely manner. Patient care background preferred. Reception experience preferred!

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Clerical: typing, filing, scheduling, computer, phone
  • Exceptional customer service skills required
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Receptionist/clerical experience required
  • Patient care background preferred
  • Experience in a clinical setting highly preferred.

SALARY RANGE

  • ‎$19.00- $27.75/hour
  • Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
