Our state-of-the-art 5000 square foot facility features advanced sports medicine equipment and rehabilitation technology, allowing our team to deliver exceptional care. We offer services primarily to patients with private health insurance, ensuring a strong foundation for your clinical practice. Our collaborative team includes two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA) dedicated to creating a supportive environment aimed at comprehensive patient recovery.

Work Environment

Working onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility, you will enjoy a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, which promotes a healthy work-life balance. Our clinic is designed to maximize comfort and efficiency, featuring dedicated therapy rooms and spaces equipped with the latest rehabilitation technology. Key Responsibilities

• Administer direct patient care based on the signed prescriptions of referring physicians or state-authorized practitioners, ensuring adherence to best practices in physical therapy.
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations using proven assessment methods to develop personalized treatment programs that aim to achieve specific health and mobility goals.
• Continuously observe patient reactions and progress during therapy sessions, demonstrating the ability to adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Follow emergency procedures to ensure patient safety and care, actively participating in maintaining a safe clinical environment.
• Document patient progress and treatment effectiveness according to clinic policies, contributing to the facility’s standards of care and operational excellence.
• Involve in quality improvement initiatives through chart reviews and feedback sessions that enhance the clinic’s service delivery.
• Engage in multidisciplinary meetings and family conferences to collaborate on patient management strategies, ensuring comprehensive care.
• Perform related duties as required, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Flex Valley Vista, you'll work predominantly with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries or injuries, sports-related incidents, and chronic pain conditions. Our diverse patient population encompasses a variety of age groups, allowing for tailored therapeutic approaches and the opportunity to develop specialized expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program, demonstrating a strong foundation in clinical knowledge.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in New York State without any pending disciplinary actions.
• Proven ability in manual therapy techniques, showcasing hands-on skills that benefit patient recovery processes.
• Experience in developing effective, individualized exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, to enhance administrative efficiency and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is advantageous, enhancing the understanding of treatment methodologies specific to this patient demographic.
• Continuous professional development with training in specialized modalities or certifications related to orthopedic therapy will be viewed positively.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, based on experience and qualifications.
