Job Description:
The Board Validation Engineer validates products against technical requirements. Design, develop, and implement validation procedures to evaluate the reliability of designs. Perform signal analysis and standardized compliance tests. Areas of test focus include Power, Thermal, Timing, High Speed Digital Design, Host/Target interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible to own the verification strategy and drive test execution across a portfolio of projects, ranging from storage controllers, network cards, switch devices, and accelerators. You will communicate product risks identified during verification testing to cross-functional engineering teams and author detailed test reports with clear documentation of results. Additionally, you will be expected to identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline test execution and reporting processes.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience with hardware testing (e.g., test methodologies, planning, execution, and reporting) required.
  • Experience using oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, thermal chamber and soldering tools.
  • Ability to read board schematics and knowledge of PCB Viewer software tools.
  • Familiarity with common bus protocols such as DDR4, PCIe, UART, I2C, and SPI.
  • Experience using Python, Github, Windows, and Linux environments

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $91,000 - $146,000
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
