What does a valet do?

Valets, also known as valet attendants or parking attendants, are responsible for parking and retrieving vehicles for guests at hotels, restaurants, event venues, and other establishments. Their main duties include greeting guests, safely driving and parking cars, keeping track of keys, and ensuring vehicles are returned promptly when requested. Valets are expected to provide excellent customer service, handle vehicles carefully, and often assist with directions or luggage. They play an important role in creating a positive first impression for visitors.

What are some common challenges faced by valets during busy shifts, and how can they be managed?

During peak hours or large events, valets often face challenges like high vehicle volume, limited parking space, and the need to maintain quick turnaround times without sacrificing customer service.
