Job description

Vacuum Truck Rentals, LLC, is one of the largest vacuum truck rental companies in the U.S. with a fleet of more than 1000 pieces of equipment and 19 locations nationwide. With a strong emphasis on the customer experience and a 24/7 service guarantee, we are seeking an experienced full-time Equipment Repair Technician in our Roxana, IL office.
Key Job Functions:

  • Diagnose and repair vacuum trucks, tankers, and related equipment
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
  • Work with diesel engines, pumps, and vacuum systems
  • Process work order requests including parts orders and requests
  • Other duties as assigned

Occasional travel required.
Hourly pay based on experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CDL preferred. If a candidate does not have a CDL upon hiring, Vacuum Truck Rentals will facilitate this training.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and read schematics
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Experience as a diesel or heavy truck mechanic
  • Vacuum truck repair experience a plus - willing to train the right candidate.
  • Candidates must provide all hand tools up to 1 and ยฝ inch along with ancillary tools to do diesel repair. Specialty and oversized tools provided.
  • Certified Diesel Mechanics preferred.
