Magnolia Companies is seeking a dependable and experienced Stormwater Management (SWM) Driver to support our Underground Utilities Division. This position is responsible for operating Vactor trucks and related equipment to support stormwater management operations, including the cleaning of underground storm structures, pipes, and hydro-excavation scopes of work.
The ideal candidate will have commercial driving experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a field environment. This role requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions, accessing underground structures, and performing physically demanding tasks while following direction from site foremen and crew leaders.
Employees must be available to report to work by 6:00 AM daily.
Responsibilities
- Operate Vactor trucks and related equipment to support stormwater management operations, underground structure cleaning, pipe cleaning, and hydro-excavation activities.
- Support the installation, maintenance, and cleaning of underground water, sanitary sewer, and storm drainage systems.
- Safely operate vehicles and equipment while following company safety procedures and jobsite requirements.
- Perform equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow instructions from site foremen and crew leaders to complete assigned tasks.
- Maintain compliance with Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and applicable jurisdictional and disposal facility requirements.
- Properly handle and dispose of materials according to project requirements and regulations.
- Assist with field operations, including accessing underground structures and handling heavy tools and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and project personnel.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Required: Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Tanker Endorsement.
- Preferred: Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Tanker Endorsement.
- Valid DOT Medical Card required.
- Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Ability to pass required background screenings, including Montgomery County School background check.
- Experience operating Vactor trucks or similar heavy equipment preferred.
- Knowledge of Federal DOT regulations and applicable transportation requirements.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with field teams and follow direction.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to safely lift, drive, and operate heavy tools and equipment.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.

Salary Description
$28.00 - $35.00 per hour
