Job description

Pay Rate: $25-$30/hr based on experience
Location: On-site 5 days per week in Hoover
Work type: Contract to hire
Experience: 1-3 years of similar experience (internships apply)
This role will support corporate asset management as the primary focus, with secondary exposure to procurement. The person will manage inventory, asset lifecycle, and system processes while partnering closely with multiple internal IT and business teams.Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage corporate asset management processes (primary responsibility)
  • Track and manage hardware and software inventory
  • Partner with IT teams including:
    • Workstation team
    • Cloud team
    • InfoSec
    • Any group involved in asset provisioning or software contracts
  • Support procurement activities (secondary; will be trained by existing team member)
  • Assist with budgeting and contract tracking
  • Work within change management initiatives tied to assets and tooling
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement
  • Maintain accuracy across systems and documentation
