POSITION SUMMARY

Ocean City Vacation Homes is seeking a motivated, skilled and reliable Vacation Rental Maintenance Technician to join our team in Ocean City, MD. You'll play a vital role in maintaining our portfolio of vacation rental properties, ensuring they are safe, functional, and guest-ready at all times. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs across vacation rental homes, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

  • Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues quickly to minimize disruption to guests.

  • Conduct regular property inspections and identify preventative maintenance needs.

  • Coordinate with cleaning teams and property managers to ensure homes are fully guest-ready.

  • Complete minor carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and appliance troubleshooting.

  • Manage and prioritize maintenance work orders using scheduling or maintenance software.

  • Support seasonal property tasks such as winterizing homes and preparing properties for peak rental seasons.

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, vendors, and team members.

  • Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to occasional after-hours maintenance needs.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of experience in property, facilities, or building maintenance required

  • Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems

  • Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing maintenance issues across multiple trades

  • Basic carpentry, drywall repair, and painting skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Comfortable using mobile apps or software to manage work orders and schedules

  • Must reside in or be willing to commute daily to Ocean City, MD (21842)

COMPENSATION & BENEFITSAnnual Salary - $52,000 - $75,000Benefits
