Job description

Inbound/Outbound Logistics Coordinator

Location: Newark, Delaware
Schedule: Full-Time
Compensation: Up to $22.00 per hour (based on experience)

A day in the life

Your shift begins in a clean, climate-controlled shop where precision matters. You review the morning pick list, print labels, and walk the floor to coordinate what must ship and what just arrived. A forklift beeps as you move pallets to staging; a quick inspection catches a dinged corner on an inbound crate, which you document and flag. By mid-morning you and a teammate rebuild a crate using hand and power tools, then secure a finished order with proper packaging and labeling. After lunch, you finalize bills of lading, update inventory transactions, and make a run in the company van to transfer parts. You wrap the day by tidying your bay, logging cycle counts, and confirming everything is queued for tomorrow.

When you’ll work
  • 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
  • 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
What you’ll do
  • Handle shipping and receiving activities with a focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Load and unload trucks; verify counts and paperwork; organize materials for smooth flow.
  • Clean containers and components to remove debris or contaminants before processing or shipment.
  • Operate material-handling equipment—forklifts, pallet jacks, pickup trucks, company vans, and, as trained, overhead cranes—to move product through the facility.
  • Package, crate, label, and secure orders so they travel safely to customers.
  • Build and repair wooden shipping crates using basic carpentry techniques and common tools.
  • Complete all documents precisely, including receiving records and bills of lading.
  • Support inventory accuracy with timely transactions, material moves, cycle counts, and location organization.
  • Inspect inbound materials for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, purchasing, and other teams to keep schedules on track.
  • Keep work areas clean, orderly, and compliant with all safety procedures.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions with close attention to detail.
  • Work overtime when needed to meet production and customer deadlines.
What you bring
  • Valid driver’s license (required).
  • Experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics (preferred).
  • Forklift experience (preferred); we provide training for qualified candidates.
  • Basic carpentry capability; comfortable with hand and power tools.
  • Solid organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Accurate, legible paperwork skills for shipping documents.
  • Basic computer familiarity for inventory and shipping transactions (preferred).
  • Comfort working independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality mindset.
  • Reliable attendance and a safety-first approach.
  • Able to follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • High school diploma or GED (preferred).
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment physical, lift assessment, and drug screening.
Physical demands
  • Lift up to 50 lbs independently; use forklifts, overhead cranes, or other equipment for heavier items.
  • Stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
  • Work safely around manufacturing machinery and moving materials.
Pay and benefits
  • Pay up to $22.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
  • Full-time role with overtime opportunities
  • 40 hours of paid vacation after the first six months
  • Three weeks of paid vacation during the first year
  • Eleven paid holidays
  • Four paid personal/sick days during the first year
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Health Savings Account (HSA)
  • Company-paid life insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Annual wage increases and performance incentives
  • Career growth and advancement opportunities
  • Clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facilities
