Vac Truck Driver Opportunity

Twin City Staffing is seeking a skilled vac truck driver to join an industry-leading environmental and industrial service team! If you are a CDL driver looking for a high-paying, highly respected role with modern equipment, fantastic daily variety, and steady year-round hours, this is the opportunity for you. Class A preferred, but Class B drivers ready to step up and train are strongly encouraged to apply! Location: Hugo, MN Wage: $30.00 – $40.00/hr. (Commensurate with experience) Hours: 1st Shift: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday (40 – 50 hours/week)

Duties of the vac truck driver:

  • Drive vacuum trucks and operate power take-off systems, pumps, valves, and heavy hoses to load and unload materials
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections while logging mechanical issues
  • Transport waste to approved treatment facilities following strict environmental, DOT, and OSHA regulations
  • Maintain accurate hours-of-service logs using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and complete daily job tickets

Requirements of the vac truck driver:

  • Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Tanker and Air Brake endorsements
  • Current DOT Medical Card and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Physical capability to lift heavy hoses (60+ lbs.), climb, bend, and work outdoors in varied weather conditions
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screenings and background checks
