Job Description
Cape Fox Facilities Services (CFFS) is seeking a Part-Time Cleared American Guards (CAG) to support a government customer. Qualified candidates must possess a current or active DoD Secret level security clearance. Responsibilities include:
  • Perform access control functions at all vehicle and pedestrian entrances to the SCS and/or SSA during hours of operations
  • Screen all workers, vehicles, and equipment entering or exiting the site
  • Deny introduction of prohibited materials such as explosives, weapons, electronic devices, or other items as specified by the SSM, and CSP
  • Conduct random inspections of all site areas to ensure no prohibited materials have been brought on to the site
  • Bring suspicious materials or incidents to the attention of the SSM
  • Monitor CCTV and Intrusion Detection Systems
  • Perform other security related duties as required by the SSM such as roving patrols, personnel and vehicle escorts
  • Operation may include 24/7/365 operations to safeguard the construction site and/or facility
  • Respond to alarms as needed
  • Escort employees and visitors

  • Perform vehicle inspections and process visitors using a computer system

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in one or more of the following categories: Construction, Facility Sustainment Operations, ICD-705 Construction Site Security, US Government/Military Physical Security, Access Control, or Technical Surveillance
  • Must hold a valid certificate for the completion of a twenty-four (24) hour or greater CAG training course. CAGs may be deployed pending certification, though they cannot work a stand-alone post until certified
  • Must be able to stand, sit, bend, walk, kneel, and perform other related physical activities for extended periods of time
  • Knowledge and ability to apply IC and DOD classification guidelines and procedures of ICD/ICS-705
