Job description

Koniag Technology Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is looking for a highly qualified, experienced, and self-motivated individuals to perform the duties of an Access and Escort Specialist with strong knowledge of visitor procedures. The Specialist will support KTS and our government customer at the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA.

Access and Escort Specialists must be flexible and willing to alternate his or her schedule in order to staff any of the support locations and construction projects during the designated working hours, after-hours, and weekends. The Contractors may be required to shift their schedule or report to an alternate location without significant advance notice. Demonstrating cooperation and flexibility when directed to staff a location during any of the identified work hours is absolutely necessary.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  •  Wear appropriate safety equipment in accordance with OSHA standards and required by federal law and designated clothing and footwear.
  • Stand / walk for long periods throughout the workday.
  • Escort personnel in various environments such as on construction sites, in office space, or on tours.
  • Process visitor requests and / or requests for site access.
  • Supports limited background investigations through collecting paperwork and fingerprinting. Support physical security specialists in conducting basic facility checks, ensure all security standards are in place, and ensure physical security equipment is operational.
  • Report suspicious activities to police, guards, or designated FBI officials.
  • Create/Issue badges for various sites, restrict or control access to sensitive areas, positively identify authorized personnel through established parameters.
  • Operate all associated IT equipment related to responsible tasks.
