Custom Business Solutions, a Michigan-based talent agency, is seeking an experienced UX Researcher for a product development opportunity. Qualified candidates submitting an application will be considered for this contract opportunity.

The UX Researcher will lead qualitative and quantitative research throughout the product lifecycle, uncovering user needs and translating insights into actionable recommendations. This role will partner closely with Product, Design, Development, and business stakeholders to ensure user feedback and data inform product strategy and design decisions.

REQUIRED SKILLS
3+ years UX Research experience
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Cognitive Psychology, Anthropology, Market Research, or related field
Qualitative and quantitative user research methodologies
User interviews, usability testing, surveys, ethnographic studies, contextual inquiry, and concept testing
Behavioral and attitudinal data analysis
Research planning, scoping, synthesis, and presentation of findings
Human-Centered Design principles
Journey maps, user personas, and Jobs to Be Done (JTBD)
Ability to connect research insights with existing data and analytics
Cross-functional collaboration with Product, Design, and Development teams
