Job description

Overview

CTG is seeking to fill a Product UX/UI Designer position for our client.

Location: Morrisville, NC

Duration: 12+ months, with possibility for extension

Duties:

  • Translate product vision, user research insights, and business objectives into compelling product concepts and polished user experiences.
  • Create concept visualizations, storyboards, prototypes, wireframes, interaction designs, and high-fidelity user interfaces.
  • Elevate the visual quality and overall craftsmanship of digital products through thoughtful UX, interaction, and visual design.
  • Apply and help evolve an emerging design system, including reusable components, interaction patterns, and visual standards.
  • Design intuitive AI-enabled experiences and leverage AI tools throughout the design process to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and refinement.
  • Produce production-ready designs and detailed specifications while partnering closely with developers to ensure high-quality implementation and design fidelity.
  • Clearly communicate design concepts and rationale through prototypes, presentations, and visual storytelling.
  • Help deliver inclusive, accessible, and user-centered digital experiences.

Skills:

  • Strong UX, interaction, and visual design capabilities.
  • Exceptional eye for typography, layout, hierarchy, color, motion, and interaction design.
  • Proficiency with Figma and modern UX design practices.
  • Experience working with design systems and reusable components.
  • Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Experience designing complex digital products, enterprise software, or SaaS applications.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled product experiences and AI-powered design tools.
  • Strong collaboration skills with product managers, researchers, developers, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating elegant, high-quality digital experiences.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience designing digital products, enterprise software, or SaaS applications.
  • Demonstrated experience taking designs from initial concepts through production implementation.
  • Experience collaborating closely with developers to deliver production-ready experiences.
  • Experience applying and evolving design systems and modern UX practices.
  • Experience creating intuitive, user-centered experiences for complex products or workflows.
  • An outstanding portfolio demonstrating exceptional UX, interaction design, and visual design capabilities.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
