Sr. UX Designer
We are seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer to lead the design of innovative digital experiences across mobile, web, and e-commerce platforms. This role will play a critical part in designing and delivering a customer-facing mobile application that enables businesses to efficiently design, purchase, and manage their roofing projects from end to end.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on UX professional with extensive experience designing B2B applications, e-commerce solutions, and responsive web and mobile experiences. You'll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Developers, and business stakeholders to transform complex business requirements into intuitive, engaging user experiences that drive customer satisfaction and business value.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end UX design process from discovery through implementation for web and mobile applications.
  • Design intuitive, engaging, and user-centered interfaces for a customer-facing mobile application that enables businesses to design, purchase, and manage roofing requirements.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, Developers, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready designs.
  • Create interactive UI mockups, high-fidelity designs, and clickable prototypes using Figma.
  • Develop user journeys, personas, information architecture, and interaction models for complex B2B and e-commerce experiences.
  • Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis to validate design decisions and continuously improve the customer experience.
  • Design responsive experiences optimized across mobile devices, tablets, and desktop platforms.
  • Ensure all designs align with brand standards, accessibility guidelines (WCAG), and established design systems.
  • Partner closely with engineering teams throughout development to ensure design quality, consistency, and successful implementation.
  • Leverage customer feedback, usability metrics, analytics, and business insights to iterate and optimize product experiences.
  • Contribute to and evolve the organization's design system, UI component library, and UX best practices.
  • Mentor junior designers and advocate for user-centered design across the organization.

Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in UX/Product Design with a strong portfolio showcasing enterprise, mobile, web, and e-commerce applications.
  • Proven experience designing customer-facing mobile applications from concept through delivery.
  • Extensive experience designing complex B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or business applications.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce user experiences, including product configuration, purchasing workflows, checkout, and account management.
  • Experience designing applications that support business operations, field services, or customer self-service portals.
  • Strong understanding of Point of Sale (POS) solutions, transaction workflows, payment experiences, and customer purchasing journeys.
  • Expert proficiency in Figma, including Components, Auto Layout, Variables, Design Systems, Interactive Prototypes, and Developer Handoff.
  • Deep understanding of mobile UX best practices across iOS and Android platforms.
  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating insights into actionable design improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of interaction design, information architecture, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design principles.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working within Agile software development environments.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience designing B2B e-commerce applications, ordering platforms, or digital commerce solutions.
  • Experience with design systems and scalable component libraries.
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms, A/B testing, and data-driven design methodologies.
  • Experience collaborating closely with front-end developers to ensure high-quality implementation.
  • Background designing applications for construction, manufacturing, distribution, home improvement, or similar industries is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
