Job Duties

The School of Nursing and Health Professions (SoNHP) at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh invites applications for tenureโ€‘track Assistant/Associate/Full Professor positions with an anticipated start date in August 2026. The candidate will contribute to teaching, scholarship, and service. Rank will be determined upon review of qualifications.

Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program associated with a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
  • Doctoral degree (PhD, DNP) appropriate to content area or near degree completion (final semester).
  • For advanced practice nurse practitioner applicants: eligible for national certification in advanced practice and/or recertification eligible with ANCC or AANP.
  • Unencumbered license as a registered nurse and/or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and eligible for licensure in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Five or more years of clinical nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Undergraduate and Graduate level teaching experience.
  • Distance/online teaching experience.
  • Evidence of scholarship and service.
