Job description

As a Certification Specialist, you are responsible for formal PCI PTS HSM certifications for the Utimaco Information Security (IS) products. You are also responsible for maintaining and improving the payment certification strategy.

  • Collaborate with the responsible assessors and certification authorities, as well as with colleagues from software development and product management;
  • Identify, pursue, and access security requirements for PCI PTS HSM approvals;
  • Being responsible for the successful certification and sustainable security architecture of our IS product lines;
  • Further develop the holistic governmental data security approval strategy;
  • Collaborate with the rest of the certification team to further certify data security products according to Common Criteria, FIPS, PCI, and other certification schemes;
  • Assist in developing a strategy to enable Utimaco to process more certifications efficiently within an agreed timeframe, utilizing also onsite regional presence;
  • Actively support the team to meet all commitments and deadlines;
Your profile
  • You have a University degree in Technical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • You have a track record of successfully leading PCI PTS HSM approvals, Common Criteria, of FIPS 140-3 approval projects with approval bodies through the full project lifecycle - specification to delivery
  • You are experienced in security architectural design.
  • You are experienced in Certification Lab and Customer communication on complex certification topics.
  • You have experience in writing technical documentation, system security architecture documents, functional specifications and process descriptions/workflows; ideally operated in the Information Technology sector at a product manufacturer as a developer or architect
  • You have excellent verbal & written communication and presentation skills in English/German
