We are seeking entry level Utility hourly labor positions for our Extrusion Plant in Silsbee, TX.
Starting Pay Rate: $20.63/HR
Shift: 12-hour rotating shift - days & nights with a 3-4-day work week
Job Summary
Performs assigned job duties in a safe and efficient manner within the extruder plant. Works anywhere in the plant as assigned. Required to work any hours as needed, including overtime, weekends, and holidays. Provides vacancy relief as needed.
Essential Functions
Heavy manufacturing facility which could involve standing, walking, working overhead, grasping, pulling, pushing, kneeling, shoveling, climbing stairs and ladders, bending and lifting throughout the shift. Requires safely operating and working around large moving vehicles and equipment. Must understand all mill safety policies and procedures, work in a safe and efficient manner at all times and wear required PPE, actively participate in the Mill's safety programs/processes, and be personally accountable for your own safety as well as your coworker's.
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One (1) year industrial experience or an Associate Degree in an industrial occupation.
  • Reliable and dependable, and available to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
  • Decision making and troubleshooting abilities, good communication and computer skills.
  • Must be safety minded, highly motivated, conscientious, and a good team player with a positive attitude.

Preferred Requirements
  • Two (2) year industrial experience or an Associate Degree in an industrial occupation.
