Fill-in Yard Driver - Day Shift | Atkins, VA
Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company LLC located in Atkins Virginia is looking for a Fill-in Yard Driver to join our team. This is a full-time day shift position.
Job Description:
  • Must hook up trailers, unhook trailers, and organize trailer with the company's yard space.
  • Responsible for moving trailers to, from, and around the trailer yard.
  • Able to safely back trailers in and out of bay doors.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on yard trucks, including checking lights, tires, and coupling devices.
  • On non-driving days - assembly work as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Current and valid Class A CDL license - Required
  • OTR Experience - Preferred
  • Ability to pass an on-site driving test.
  • Prior manufacturing or assembly experience a plus.
  • Able to read and understand conventional measuring instruments.
  • Able to communicate effectively.
  • Must be reliable and dependable.
  • Available to work overtime as needed.

Pay:
  • $27.09 per hour

Hours:
  • Monday - Friday 5:30am - 2pm
