Job Summary - The Departmental Secretary II position in the Nursing Program reports directly to the Director of the School of Nursing and is responsible for the operation of the offices for the School of Nursing and the BSN, RN to BSN, MSN, and DNP programs on the Dothan campus including but not limited to: serving as a point of contact for nursing office, maintaining budgets; filing; coordinating meetings and appointments; managing databases and spreadsheets necessary for monitoring program outcomes; managing advisement and registration of nursing majors; adjunct and overload contracts; ensuring requisitions, purchase orders and invoices are processed in a timely manner; monitoring account balances for budget line items; compiling application information for students; student registration/advisement; maintaining appropriate documentation for clinical requirements; and other general clerical and secretarial tasks.

Minimum Qualifications - 1. High school diploma or equivalent 2. Minimum of two years of clerical office work experience 3. Good computer skills 4. Good oral and written communication skills 5. Professional appearance and behavior

Preferred Qualifications - 1. Some college coursework, including computer training 2. Strong English language skills 3. Office support skills
