Job description

Level II MT/PT/UT/VT Technician – Gas TurbineJacksonville, FL | Full-Time

We are currently seeking experienced Level II MT/PT/UT/VT Technicians for full-time work in Jacksonville, Florida. This position will support gas turbine inspection operations involving major OEM equipment including GE, Siemens, and Mitsubishi turbines.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience performing nondestructive testing inspections on gas turbine components in power generation or industrial environments and possess a strong commitment to safety, quality, and technical excellence.

Position Summary

The Level II Technician will perform Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Visual Testing (VT) inspections on gas turbine components and related equipment. Candidates must be able to interpret results, document findings, and work effectively in outage and maintenance environments.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform Level II MT, PT, UT, and VT inspections in accordance with applicable procedures and standards
  • Conduct inspections on GE, Siemens, and Mitsubishi gas turbine components
  • Set up and calibrate NDT equipment
  • Interpret inspection results and evaluate indications
  • Prepare accurate inspection reports and documentation
  • Follow all customer, company, and site-specific safety requirements
  • Support turbine outages, maintenance projects, and inspections
  • Work closely with project managers, supervisors, and customers
  • Maintain inspection records and certification documentation
  • Travel occasionally as project needs require
  • Work overtime, weekends, nights, and outage schedules when required
Qualifications
  • Current Level II certifications in MT, PT, UT, and VT required
  • Previous gas turbine inspection experience required
  • Experience working on GE, Siemens, and/or Mitsubishi turbines preferred
  • Strong understanding of NDT procedures, standards, and inspection techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and specifications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in power generation or turbine outage environments
  • Additional NDT certifications are a plus
  • Previous borescope or advanced UT experience is a plus
