Description
Spiral Solutions & Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Combatant Command (CCMD) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) Joint Exercises, Training, and Assessment Directorate (J7). This is a contingent-on-award position under the Joint Exercise, Training, Assessment and Related Support (JETARS) contract.
The CCMD SME provides authoritative expertise in joint operations and exercise design to support USSTRATCOM's full-spectrum exercise and wargame program. The selected candidate bridges operational experience with exercise execution, ensuring that USSTRATCOM Tier 1 exercises accurately replicate CCMD-level operations, decision-making processes, and orders development from national-level direction through unit execution.
This is a contingent-on-award position. Employment is subject to contract award by the Government. Candidates selected will be notified of their contingent status and kept informed of award progress.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in joint operations including demonstrated experience in bridging operations into all aspects of exercise design and execution.
Understanding of CCMD-level operations, national-level decision making processes, the joint planning process, and the orders development process.
Prior job experience on Joint Staff or CCMD staff required.
Professional military education in strategy and planning, OR 5 years of experience applying strategy and joint doctrine in joint planning processes.
Prior experience at USSTRATCOM Headquarters, JFACC, or JFMCC.
Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with eligibility for NC2/ESI and Special Access Program (SAP) access, obtainable within 30 days of task order award.
Preferred Qualifications
Direct experience planning or executing USSTRATCOM Tier 1 exercises (GLOBAL THUNDER, GLOBAL LIGHTNING, or equivalent).
Experience with Joint Training Tools (JTT), JTIMS, or JLLIS.
Familiarity with CJCS 3500-series Joint Training directives and USSTRATCOM exercise standing instructions.
Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Phase 2 graduate.
Experience as an exercise White Cell lead, MSEL coordinator, or scenario design lead.
Security Clearance Requirements
This position requires access to classified material supporting national security programs. All contractor personnel must be U.S. citizens and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility. NC2/ESI and Special Access Program (SAP) access eligibility must be obtainable within 30 days of task order award. All personnel must comply with program security requirements outlined in the task order DD254.
