Job Title: UX/UI Designer (Figma Specialist)

Location: Jacksonville, FL (Remote is acceptable)
 

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer (Figma Specialist) to create intuitive, responsive, and accessible digital experiences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating business and user requirements into user-centered designs using Figma, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design wireframes, user flows, mockups, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI screens using Figma.
  • Create responsive designs optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
  • Develop and maintain reusable design systems, component libraries, and UI kits.
  • Define information architecture, navigation flows, and user journeys.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and stakeholders to transform business requirements into intuitive user experiences.
  • Conduct usability reviews and incorporate user feedback into design improvements.
  • Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability best practices.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure pixel-perfect implementation.
  • Present design concepts, prototypes, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Maintain consistency across products by following established design standards.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI Design.
  • Strong expertise in Figma, including Auto Layout, Components, Variants, Design Systems, and Prototyping.
  • Experience designing responsive web and mobile applications.
  • Solid understanding of User Experience (UX) principles, Information Architecture, Interaction Design, and Visual Design.
  • Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design best practices.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare or insurance domain is a plus.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and front-end development concepts.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Knowledge of usability testing and user research methodologies.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with FigJam, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
  • Basic understanding of design handoff tools and developer collaboration.
  • Experience with enterprise applications or large-scale digital platforms.
