Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.

We are seeking a motivated and creative individual with a passion for user experience (UX). This role is an excellent opportunity to join a growing UX team and contribute to Siemens digital software products. You will work with a global, cross-functional team that includes UX engineers, product managers, developers, and other stakeholders.

  • Gather and analyze data from internal issue-tracking systems and customer feedback channels.
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze customer surveys related to product quality and user satisfaction.
  • Analyze and compare software versions to measure UX improvements over time.
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate concepts and support stakeholder alignment.
  • Manage projects with tight timelines through completion and provide regular status updates to the management team.
Minimum Requirements
  • Recent graduate with 0–2 years of experience and a BS or MS in Human Factors, HCI, Psychology, Computer Science, Visual Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design, grounded in HCI, visual design, or industrial design principles.
  • Willingness to “wear multiple hats” and contribute to a variety of UX-related tasks in a team environment.
  • Self-driven, collaborative, and comfortable communicating design ideas to cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with interactive prototyping tools; experience with Axure is highly desired.
  • Experience with industry-standard visual design tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience sketching interfaces and creating wireframes, sitemaps, and prototypes.
  • Knowledge of web interfaces, mobile design considerations, usability, and accessibility.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with front-end web development concepts, including CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.
  • Experience applying Lean or Agile UX techniques, including rapid iterative design, to translate user requirements into user stories.
  • Experience applying user research and evaluation methods, including interviews, surveys, heuristic evaluations, usability testing, and related approaches.
  • Technical background is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A design portfolio that demonstrates solid knowledge of UX and design principles is required.
