Job Summary
- This project is to provide DWD a unified front-end development approach across the agency spanning multiple technologies and applications.
- Only candidates located in Indiana will be considered for this position.
- Build the structure to ensure responsive design, accessibility and usability of the internal and external applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Support UI/UX design for existing DWD systems
- Graphic Design and mockups
- Support existing custom applications written in a mixture of .NET and other technologies.
- Proactively approach new technologies, systems, and design patterns.
- Work with business, other IT teams, and other agencies to define and enhance new solutions.
- Enhance existing applications within an agile environment.
- Exhibit a mixture of soft and hard skills necessary for success in this position.
- Demonstrate good communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience as a front-end developer
- Portfolio or GitHub showcasing projects
- CSS
- Mockups
- Agile development methodologies
- Experience with CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, etc)
- Mobile-first design principles
- HTML5, CSS3
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in AI
- Javascript
- Dynamics 365
- Java Spring Framework
- Git/GitHub or similar tools
