We are backed by TA Associates and Berkshire Partners, top-tier global private equity firms.
Our Core Values:

  • Collaboration: You value diverse perspectives and work effectively across teams.
  • Improvement: You actively seek opportunities to learn, grow, and innovate.

  • Compensation: $110,000 -$120,000, depending on experience.

About the role:
A portfolio (including at least one case study that showcases your UI and UX abilities) must be provided with your application for candidacy consideration.
The UX Designer is an individual contributor on our Product Design team, working alongside Product Managers and engineers to craft intuitive, polished experiences for PDQ's SaaS web products. You'll support the full design process, from understanding user needs to delivering high-quality UI, helping IT teams around the world work faster and with greater confidence in our tools.
Why this role matters:
IT teams choose PDQ because our products are fast, intuitive, and built for real workflows. As a UX Designer, you'll help shape the everyday experience of thousands of IT professionals, contributing directly to product adoption and customer satisfaction.
How you might spend your day:
  • Partner with Product Managers to gather and refine project requirements, ensuring designs align with both user needs and business goals
  • Conduct user research and customer interviews to validate ideas, gather feedback, and inform design decisions
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web features, iterating based on user and team feedback
  • Work closely with engineering teams to answer implementation questions and help ensure the final product matches the design intent
  • Stay current on UX/UI trends, tools, and best practices, continuously bringing fresh thinking to your work
  • Participate in agile ceremonies - sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives - to keep design in sync with development

We're looking for people who have:
Must Have:
  • 2-4 years of product design experience on customer-facing web SaaS products
  • Experience collaborating with Product Managers and engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle
  • Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that clearly communicate user flows and design intent
  • Proficiency with Figma for design and prototyping
  • Portfolio (including at least one case study showcasing UI and UX abilities) required with application

Nice to Have:
  • Experience designing for IT, developer-focused, or enterprise SaaS products
  • Familiarity with device management, endpoint security, or similar IT domains
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices
  • Exposure to design systems or component libraries

Who you are:
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Adaptability and comfort working in evolving environments.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a continuous learning mindset.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Why You'll Love Working at PDQ:
PDQ offers all of the great perks and benefits you'd expect from working at a very cool tech company, and even some you might not expect, including:
  • 4-Day Work Week
  • Equity Participation
  • Managers who champion professional development
  • 100% Premium Coverage for medical, dental and vision for you and your dependents
  • 100% Premium Coverage for Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Life, and AD&D Insurance
  • Company Match of the first 6% of your employee deferrals
  • Flexible Paid Time Off Policy that treats you like the adult that you are
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) and wellness incentives
  • Quarterly Company Values Award (team member nominated)
