Job description

Company Description
Our search process is thorough and is designed to streamline our clients' recruiting efforts.
We begin by learning as much as we can about our client's organization. Our understanding must span company history, environment, organizational structure, and specific team culture. When screening candidates, we determine how each prospect will fit into that structure in addition to possessing the appropriate skill set to excel in a specific job opportunity.
We often cover most, if not all, functional areas within an organization, which allows us to gain a full understanding of all aspects of a company.
Using our expansive network and technology systems to source candidates, we conduct a thorough vetting process and present a qualified shortlist to our clients. Each candidate's profile is accompanied by a first-hand written description on their professional accomplishments, work history, stylistic qualities, and reasons for potential fit in your organization.
Job Description

Location: Eagan, MN
Duartion: 12 Month

The Client Legal UX Team is dedicated to bringing our customers into our design and development process to ensure our products fit their needs. We're in need of a passionate UX Prototyper who can bring designs, wireframes, and concepts to life, creating research stimuli for our customers to react to. Guided by the cadence and objectives of the UX Research and Product teams, this individual will work closely with visual and interaction designers to mimic their materials by creating prototypes ranging from low fidelity clickable mockups to high fidelity, robust interactive interfaces. Working in an agile sprint process, the prototyper will be able to create and revise at impressive speeds.
The overarching goal is to create user friendly applications for our Legal business unit customers. This role will report into the UX Research team.
Responsibilities
• Prototype from design comps (created by design team) to create deliverables for eliciting customer feedback
• Have a design point-of-view and be able to discuss ideas, give and receive feedback. However, at the end of the day, the main focus is to build what is in the design comp
• Understand design direction in order to communicate cross-functionally with Research, Product, and Strategy partners
• Refine prototypes based on UX research results
• Build realistic and convincing interactive prototypes
• Build micro-interactions and transition- animations
• Create videos to showcase concepts
• Determine when a simple clickable prototype will suffice and when the research requires a more interactive prototype
Qualifications
• B.S. in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Engineering, Design or related field
• Substantial experience creating sophisticated prototypes that incorporate conditional logic and real data, using advanced prototyping tools including (ordered according to frequency of use) Invision, Principle, Axure, Flinto, Framer, or Flash
• Substantial experience with animation tools including (ordered according to frequency of use) Principle, Framer, AfterEffects, Flow or Haiku
• Prior experience developing a functional prototype from design comps
• Proficient with design production tools Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch
• Some (1-2 years) experience with HTML and CSS to assist with building interactive prototypes
• High level knowledge of JavaScript libraries a plus
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Strong understanding of UI and UX principles
• Possess a collaborative, learning mindset, constantly seeking improvement, and are eager to grow and share knowledge
• Thrive in an environment that requires strong problem-solving skills, independent self-direction, and timely execution as part of an agile team
