Job Responsibilities:

A UI/UX Designer is responsible for delivering world-class UI designs, from concept through to final product release. They will design and produce pixel-perfect UI mockups based on wireframes and UX research; while working in partnership with the product strategy team to translate business requirements into intuitive user interfaces. The Designer will also work in partnership with the product prototype and engineering team to implement UI templates and ensure visual consistency across all products and demos. UI/UX designers will document and maintain user interface design specifications and templates.


Knowledge Required:


  • Working skill of web application design using HTML/5, CSS/3, JavaScript, etc.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other presentation design tools

  • Experience or familiarity with Lean UX or Agile/Scrum



  • 3-5 + years’ experience in user interface design for web based applications

  • Bachelor’s or BFA degree in design-related disciplines

  • Detail-oriented, creative, collaborative and able to work in a fast-paced Agile environment

  • Proficiency in tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Omnigraffle (or similar wire framing software)

  • Core design skills: typography, layout, color, grid systems, visual communication and hierarchy, interaction design

  • Experience working on dashboard design

  • Excellent skills working in Adobe Illustrator (also Photoshop, InDesign)

  • Understanding in designing for multiple devices and responsive web

  • Experience working with multiple browsers (tablet/mobile, etc.)

  • Product development experience

  • Experience working with front-end (QlikView, Tableau, HTML5) developers to implement their designs

  • Strong communication skills, self-motivated, team player and positive attitude
