Job description

Job Summary:
AeroVironment (AV) is a global leader in unmanned aircraft systems and tactical missile systems. The UX Visual Analyst will support web development initiatives by maintaining a professional digital presence, creating high-quality graphics, and collaborating with senior designers to deliver user-focused web solutions.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Support the design, development, and maintenance of web application solutions.
โ€ข Implement and modify basic scripts using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
โ€ข Manage and update content within content management systems such as WordPress and SiteWorks.
โ€ข Design and produce graphics for organizational initiatives, presentations, and communication efforts.
โ€ข Collaborate with team members to propose, evaluate, and refine business solution strategies.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
โ€ข 4+ yearsโ€™ relevant experience. An additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
โ€ข Experience designing and implementing customerโ€‘facing web solutions.
โ€ข Familiarity with gathering customer requirements and documenting processes.
โ€ข Foundational UI/UX design experience using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
โ€ข Understanding of web service architecture and content management systems.
โ€ข Working knowledge of JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
โ€ข TS/SCI with Polygraph
