UI/UX Designer

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to help shape intuitive, accessible, and scalable digital experiences for enterprise applications. This role requires a strategic design professional who can move beyond gathering requirements to deeply understand business goals, user needs, and operational workflows.
The ideal candidate will translate complex business needs into thoughtful user experiences, create scalable design patterns, and collaborate closely with stakeholders, product teams, engineers, and vendors. This individual should be comfortable evaluating existing solutions, improving user journeys, and driving design decisions that align with long-term organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end UX and UI design activities for enterprise web applications.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and interaction designs.
  • Maintain and evolve design systems, component libraries, and reusable design patterns.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, stakeholder interviews, and discovery workshops.
  • Translate business requirements into intuitive, user-centered experiences.
  • Design responsive experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms.
  • Improve complex workflows, forms, dashboards, and operational portals.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Evaluate and enhance existing or third-party/vendor-developed applications.
  • Ensure designs comply with accessibility standards and industry best practices.
  • Prepare documentation and specifications for developer handoff.
  • Support continuous improvement through analytics, user feedback, and usability insights.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong experience designing enterprise or complex web applications.
  • Expertise in Figma including wireframing, prototyping, component management, and developer handoff.
  • Experience creating and maintaining design systems and component libraries.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and modern UX methodologies.
  • Experience designing data-intensive interfaces including dashboards, forms, workflows, and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards, particularly WCAG 2.2 AA.
  • Experience facilitating user research and usability testing.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to evaluate and improve existing applications and user experiences.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with authenticated user portals, operational systems, or enterprise platforms.
  • Experience designing Salesforce experiences using Experience Cloud, Lightning Design System, Lightning Web Components (LWC), or Visualforce.
  • Understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Grid, and Flexbox.
  • Experience working within regulated industries, government, education, healthcare, social services, or similar environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile product development methodologies.
  • Experience collaborating with distributed teams and external vendors.
