Job description

JOB SUMMARY

The Director, Product Management acts as the CEO of a set of products, assuming responsibility for the product strategy, financial outcomes, customer experience, and user experience design for the product solutions at iTradeNetwork. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, the role requires a unique blend of business acumen, design skills, technology expertise, and a strong drive to exceed growth expectations. This individual serves as the visionary for new solutions, evaluating market trends, customer pain points/use cases, the competitive landscape, etc., to invent and drive near-term and long-term strategies and roadmaps. Achieving success requires an entrepreneurial, experimental, and growth mindset, strong cross-functional facilitation and motivation skills, and, most importantly, a consistent focus on team and talent development. 

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy-

  • Drive the success of multiple software product lines by partnering with stakeholders to align on product strategy and deliver measurable results that solve our customers' problems
  • Build and manage a long-term product vision while successfully delivering product releases on-time and on-budget
  • Define, track, and elevate key metrics and success criteria for product features and offerings pre and post-launch
  • Partner with marketing and sales to define the go-to-market strategy, pricing strategy, and sales strategy of products.
  • Understanding of AI and the impact of AI in vertical SaaS software. Be able to understand the agentic software paradigm in solving the traditional workflow challenges. 

Product Delivery:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert in the capability space - with knowledge about industry benchmarks and the capability market landscape
  • Collaborate with other product managers, software architects, developers, and UX designers to document detailed use cases and translate high-level requirements into functional specifications (assist with wireframes, feature/functionality brainstorms, etc.)
  • Write clear and concise specifications for new design features; manage Scrum and Agile development stories
  • Prioritize features while understanding the tradeoffs, and constantly evolve a well-groomed backlog
  • Help define and launch early adopter programs for new product initiatives
  • Support sales, operations, legal, marketing, and customer support teams, answering product questions, issue remediation, etc.
  • Debug and triage potential issues as they arise and act as a key driver for new dashboarding and product analytics

Team Management and Leadership:

  • Inspire and lead internal teams towards a product vision. Provide training and mentorship as needed.
  • Hire an A+ team and continuously raise the bar to deliver individual and collective results.

Customer Obsession:

  • Understand the real "why" regarding user behavior and translate customer insights into a working product 
  • Create a culture of customer-led development by closely aligning with customers and regularly involving customers into validation process for new ideas. 
  • Evangelize product strategies to your customers and stakeholders and ensure that they align with the overall company strategy.
What you'll need:
  • 10+ years of technical product management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or another technical field (MBA or other Master's degree preferred)
  • 5+ years managing people and teams
  • Strong technical documentation skills (business case analysis, product/feature requirements, etc.)
  • Proficiency in using AI tools to research, document, and manage product management processes and documentation. 
  • Exceptional analytical and presentation skills with the ability to present controversial or complex topics to top management and customers
  • Experience with market research, data analysis
  • Experience with project management software tools, methodologies and industry best practices
  • Excellent organizational/time-management and multitasking skills, and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines for multiple projects
  • Possesses the confidence, maturity, and finesse to build organizational consensus and lead through influence
  • Knowledge of design and development technologies preferred

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to travel as required
  • Knowledge of supply chain management/ERP experience preferred
  • Must have unrestricted ability to work in the United States.

Salary: $215,000 - $225,000
