Job description

Role: UX Designer

Location: Hybrid - 4 days/week onsite in SE

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Description: We are seeking a talented and customer-focused UX/UI Designer to create intuitive, engaging, and seamless end-to-end user experiences across vehicles, digital products, and other customer touchpoints. This role combines user research, interaction design, information architecture, accessibility, and service design to deliver experiences that align with customer needs, brand standards, and business objectives. The ideal candidate is passionate about human-centered design, thrives in cross-functional Agile environments, and leverages emerging technologies, including AI, to enhance the user experience and design process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct user research to understand customer needs, behaviors, motivations, and pain points.
  • Design intuitive user experiences across digital, mobile, web, and in-vehicle platforms.
  • Map and optimize end-to-end customer journeys across products, services, and touchpoints.
  • Define user interactions across interfaces, including touch, voice, gesture, and emerging interaction models.
  • Develop information architecture and content structures that enable intuitive navigation and usability.
  • Collaborate with localization and translation teams to ensure globally consistent user experiences.
  • Apply service design principles to create cohesive experiences across interconnected products, systems, and stakeholders.
  • Integrate Accessibility and Universal Design principles throughout the design lifecycle.
  • Plan and execute usability testing, user research studies, and design validation activities.
  • Advocate for user-centered design and design excellence across product teams and stakeholders.
  • Utilize systems thinking and systems design methodologies to solve complex design challenges holistically.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and Business Stakeholders throughout product development.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools and technologies to improve design workflows, research insights, prototyping, and user experiences.
Required Experience

3-5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI Design, Product Design, Service Design, or a related discipline. Experience designing customer-facing digital experiences from concept through implementation. Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design methodology and successful product outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience leading design initiatives within Agile or Lean product teams. Proven ability to influence stakeholders, drive alignment, and communicate design rationale to senior leadership. Expertise in one or more specialized areas, such as: Automotive/In-Vehicle Experiences, Mobile Applications, Business and Service Design, Motion Design, AI-Driven Experiences, API-Based and Connected Ecosystems. Demonstrated experience mentoring and developing design talent. Track record of introducing innovative design practices and advancing design maturity within an organization. Experience utilizing AI technologies to support research, ideation, prototyping, content generation, and design optimization.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Computer Science, Psychology, or a related field.
