Instructional Design & E-learning Development
  • Strong skill in creating micro-learning, e-learning, job aids, and playbooks.
  • Experience with learning design principles and adult learning methodologies.

SharePoint Design & UX/UI
  • Proven ability to design SharePoint sites (structure, navigation, content layouts).

JOB DESCRIPTION
Senior Knowledge Management Learning Designer and UX Specialist
A blend of:

Position Summary
This role leads the design, development, and activation of knowledge management tools and learning experiences at RTX. It combines instructional design, knowledge transfer strategy, UX design, and SharePoint site creation to build the foundational KM infrastructure and enable employees and leaders to effectively capture, share, and apply critical knowledge.
Core Responsibilities
1. Knowledge Management SharePoint (Primary)
  • Design, build, and maintain the enterprise Knowledge Management SharePoint site.
  • Translate KM strategy into user-centered layouts, workflows, and tools.
  • Create pages, templates, and resources that define KM processes, best practices, and use cases.
  • Gather stakeholder feedback and integrate inputs from Learning and Talent systems.
  • Partner with Communications to develop activation, rollout, and adoption plans.

2. Knowledge Transfer Learning (E-learning + Frameworks)
  • Develop Knowledge Transfer 101 e-learning (storyboard, design, build).
  • Turn KM principles into simple, actionable learning experiences.
  • Build templates, guides, worksheets, and practical resources.
  • Translate the competency model into behavioral examples and practice-based learning.
  • Ensure the program equips leaders and employees to identify risks, document critical knowledge, and execute transfer plans.

3. SOP/Playbook Creation
  • Create a KM/KT playbook, toolkit, and quick reference guides.
  • Turn the e-learning into a practical "at-a-glance" resource for non-learners.
  • Develop step-by-step process documentation, checklists, role expectations, and how-to guides.

4. Talent Management SharePoint Redesign
  • Redesign the TM site on the HR Hub using modern UX and information architecture.
  • Ensure integration with the broader Talent Management ecosystem.
  • Coordinate messaging, workflows, and content with key partners.
  • Support change management and adoption.
